Service Description
- Price is per tying pair (Same rigger required for all classes. This is so that the teacher can monitor progress and tailor course content and risk to the groups progression) - Price includes ALL classes (Fri evening, Saturday & Sunday) - 2 x tickets to the performance night (for the rigger and model) are also INCLUDED in the price. - Attendance at all classes is required as the curriculum is progressive - Riggers require willingness to learn and use a stemless Gote, smooth & safe upline management and a level of confidence suspending a partner - Models require being comfortable tied in a TK style chest harness, an understanding of the difference between comfortable & sustainable, a willingness to explore both, and an ability to self-monitor nerve compression & bloodflow restriction - Ties are semenawa oriented & may be challenging Frederico and Marta are a power couple in both rope and life. They have been teaching and performing in various European locations since 2012. In 2016 they opened the School of Rope Milano, which has become the impressive Yugen Studio. Frederico brings together an incredibly dedicated and detail oriented foundation in traditional kinbaku with what I can only describe as a very Italian sense of proportion, aesthetics and taste. He demonstrates a really deep understanding of the traditional shibari style he puts his own spin on. His style of kinbaku, sense of style & aesthetics, is not typically seen in Australia. Marta is an archetype you might know - small, quiet, gracious, charming. It's a facade, a trick of mirrors. Hidden away modestly is a life spent dancing that produces grace and a synergy with Frederico’s eye. Peek behind the facade only a moment to see the steel resolve of body and mind; that suffers terribly in such grace for us, takes only a moment and wants to go again. -Nawaaush Fri evening will focus on learning the stemless Gote (also known as TK etc) favoured by Federico Kirigami as taught by his Sensei(s). Day 1 Some iconic patterns will be taught & put in use for floorwork & simple suspensions. Each basic pattern will be used to teach a skill that can be carried over and used in several other ties. We will use several partial suspensions to ensure a solid gote and safe line management. Day 2 An extension of day 1, we aim to improve riggers’ hard skills, rope & body handling, using ties that can actually be used in elegantly playful sessions & develop creative ways to build intensely erotic sessions
