Intro Shibari 1B Course - May

Service Description

In this 4 week course you will learn the classic Takate Kote pattern. Spread across 4 x Wednesday evenings 7pm-9pm, your ticket price covers one person. Limited rope can be provided, however it is preferred for you to have 4 lengths of your own rope at this level. The course covers the basic essentials of this beautiful chest harness as well as essential fundamentals like rope handling, flow and connection. The course is progressive and missing a week would place you in a challenging position. The course can be repeated as many times as necessary and, once completed, individual evenings can be purchased at a pro rata cost, to review elements of the harnes that you may be struggling with. Please be aware that the 'TK' is a complex harness which takes some time to master, certainly more than 4 weeks. Continued and additional practice is required. To participate in this course, students do not have to have completed Level 1A (Intro), but must be able to tie the following elements relatively proficiently and without assistance: single column tie, fig8/cross/3 point friction, two half moon/circle/drum friction, no-dome, 2 x methods of joining rope, as well as have a decent understanding of tensions.
