You’re kink curious, right. Dying to try it? Learn more about it, see if it’s for you. Don’t wanna spend heaps or get hurt along the way, right? You’re friends aren’t quite as into it as you and you kinda want this private for now. We gotchu! How do I know if this workshop can help? Firstly we all remember what it was like starting out. For some of us it was a year ago, for some of us computers were only in sci-fi movies. Most of us made some mistakes, most of us made great decisions that helped a lot. If nothing else, just this bit will help you immensely. Plus we’re bringing props, tools, toys, for you to see and hold. We’ll explain and maybe demo how they’re used. Safely. Maybe you’ll get to try if you’d like to. Who are the presenters? We make sure we have a range of genders, ages, skills, experiences and roles represented. You’ll often get more than one answer or perspective on a question and you get to reflect and digest which one resonates best for you right now and some extras to try in future if things change slightly. What format will it take? We’ll introduce ourselves, just enough to have an idea of what we enjoy and relative skills, and so that you know whether we’re Dom/Sub, Sadist/masochist or whatever. Then we’ll run through some jargon and terms. Hopefully to set you up well so that as you continue to explore, maybe have a convo at a munch or party, you’ll understand what the other party is saying and won’t feel insecure about asking positive questions! We’ll do little talks and demos on how you can experience so little kinks safely at home for yourselves. Light impact play, light bondage, light pain play, gentle power exchange, role play can all be fun, safe and inexpensive! We’ll share how to start and finish scenes elegantly and not all corny and weird. Do I need someone to come with? You don’t, but you’re welcome to. We will make sure you feel comfortable and included. We will be doing some light vetting of attendees to weed out any of the non genuinely curious and to ensure everyone has a fun respectful time.
