Price is per couple. This class is suitable for someone relatively new to shibari but not if you haven't done it before at all. If you have a entry level TK, you'll be fine, if you have a good single column and frictions you'll find it challenging but completable. If you have knowledge and skill of an intermediate to advanced level, you will still benefit from this class. In this class you can expect a unique perspective on Japanese rope from an unrivalled female master of the art. She brings extensive cultural and traditional knowledge combined with distinctive dominant female energy. This class will be invaluable to people with any level of skill as it will be full of basics that are easy to follow but also will present more advanced concepts and tips. Kasumi san will cover topics such as: ▪️Bondage safety (talk and simple arm exercises/talk on nerves in the neck/risks of two arms, etc.) ▪️Kasumi TK (talk also about the blame rope style TK and Japanese aesthetics and eroticism. Talk as well as technique) ▪️Semenawa rope play with floor rope: Demonstration and practice. This is an amazing opportunity to discuss and learn about the abstract concepts behind rope. What to bring with you: Usual rope, 10 to 15 ropes for intermediate to advanced level. They also recommend students to prepare a short rope. (A 3M rope or a 1M rope is very useful)  Sporty clothes that are easy to tie in, and if available, long kimono-style flowing outer clothing, or something similar, you can use a thin bathrobe or a long dress! KASUMI HOURAI 蓬莱かすみ Kasumi Hourai is one of the leading female Kinbaku masters in the world. 2 years after her debut as a dominatrix at 18, she had her first lesson from the legendary Akechi Denki. With the lessons from top professionals such as Naka Akira, she has developed her skills, style and artistry. With 26 years of experience in the business, she has been teaching all over the world. Her concept, style and variation have a very strong characteristics of traditional Japanese beauty and culture, which receives profound influence from the upbringing of ikebana/kadō (flower arrangement), sadō/chadō (tea ceremony) and fine kimono. Cancellation Policy

These workshops are highly desired events. In the past, some bookings have been made months in advance (presumedly to secure a spot only to be canceled 24 or 48 hrs before. This prevents many people from being able to attend as they have to plan travel, babysitting, time off work etc. As such, our new policy applies to try to achieve fairness in accessibility. 1. Bookings must be paid in full 2. Once made, a maximum refund of 95% is possible 3. Cancelations made inside two months of the event start date & time, but before one month, will qualify for a 50% refund 4. Cancelations made inside one month of the event start date & time do not qualify for refund.
