Level 2- March- Kimono in Rope
Shibari Level 2- Kimono
Service Description
Step into March Level 2 classes for Introduction to kimono in rope with Erodisi. This immersive month of classes will begin to explore the rich history of kimono in shibari. You’ll discover how kimono has long shaped posture, presence and connection. From there we trace how these foundations influenced the aesthetic and philosophy of shibari. Rope is explored not only as restraint in BDSM, but as an expressive art form. One rooted in communication, trust and intentional connection. Learn how formality, layering, and symbolism in kimono parallel the structure, flow and emotional exchange found in rope. Whether you’re curious about Japanese dress, embodied communication, or the deeper artistic roots of shibari, this introduction offers a thoughtful, respectful and beautifully grounded starting point. No experience with kimono required just curiosity and an openness to learn through thoughtful conversation, touch and shared presence. Model Dress: This class is highly interactive and tying pairs will have the opportunity to explore the use of kimono throughout the sessions. A limited selection of kimonos will be available for shared use in class and participants are warmly encouraged to enjoy and engage with them or even bring their own. Under the kimono please wear normal, comfortable tying attire, form-fitting gym wear or non-sheer lingerie is also encouraged. There will be no active nudity of genitals during class. Exploration of body positioning and exposure positions will be included as part of the curriculum, with a focus on communication and consent. Please dress according to your personal comfort level and boundaries, allowing you to engage with this dialogue in a way that feels aligned with your own consent parameters. You must be able to complete a 3TK of reasonable quality, without assistance. This level requires a tying partner and a minimum of 6-8 of your own ropes and your own carabiners if you wish to do partials. You must be able to complete a 3TK of suspendable quality and manage uplines, without assistance. Price is per person. This weekly class will be on every Tuesday the whole of March. Commencing on the 3rd March and going until the 31st of March. Bookings essential. Price is per person.
